PROCESS WORK
Exploration
After reading the novel from the website provided, I chose this part.
then I visited the big bad wolf convention to look for any references, I mainly look for marvel / fantastic 4 / star wars comics.
I also use pinterest for my source of inspiration.
Ideation
I used the moment to moment transition for the eyes to enhance the subtle reaction
Digitization
To make it easier, I asked my parents and my brother to pose so that I can trace from it.
I added details like wallpaper using clipping mask. I also added textures to the walls
I added a few details like shadows to give it more surrealism feel using the pen tool and blurring it out with radial blur.
Animating
After finishing up the details, I made 4 different scenes for the animation.
For the animation of the comic, I use photoshop, and for the cover I use After Effects.

REFLECTION
Had a lot of fun making this project. I love the idea where we take a part of a story and develop the visual ideation of it. The exploration part was so fun to me, to see the different layouts of comics and how it help to enhance the feelings in the story.
This is also my first time making a comic strip, so there was a bit of a challenge on where I want to put the layout and how to change the scenes flawlessly.
All in all, I enjoyed every process of this task. With the help of online tutorials and feedbacks, I am satisfied with the outcome.
