LECTURES

Week 1

A brief on what will be taught in this module.

EXERCISES

Exercise 1 - Mint Ads

We were given a folder with clips that we need to arrange and edit in Premier Pro. 

Exercise 2 - Doritos Ads

Similar with the last one, we were given clips that we need to edit into a well put video. The challenge is that the clips are in random sequence. Therefore we need to take a careful look of each video and figure out the order.


Exercise 3 - Self Framing Shots

We were asked to shot a video of ourselves in these framing shots : 


After finish shooting, we need to edit the videos and put a label according to the frames. 




Week 2 Quiz 


LALIN 

Act 1
When we meet her character, her goals, her relationships, and the usual routine in her life. Then, something disrupts her normal life, pushing her into a new situation that marks her going out from her comfort zone, and she decides to try it out. 

Act 2

Act 2 starts when Lalin went on her journey and going on with her new life. She's hired as a translator for a Thai book into Japanese which overtime she became close with the author. Their form of communication is online so they never see each other's faces. But then, one day the author surprise her by visiting Japan and wanting to see her in person. She initally agreed, but then she decided to stay hiden. 

Act 3
Since Lalin couldn't bring herself to see him, the author was left hanging. And eventually the author left, leaving a file. When Lalin saw the file on the table, she read it. She then realized that the author was her childhood friend. She quicky went after him, but she was too late. 

  • Inciting incident: Insecurity of her acne and her past (being bullied for it)

  • Midpoint: Moving into a new country and eventually builds up a connection with the author

  • Climax: when the author said he was in Japan to see her, and she was scared to see him.

  • Theme: Overcome your insecurity 


EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE 

Act 1

When we were introduced to Evelyn, her life was a mess. Her marriage was failing, she runs a laundromat, juggling between work an family. Things were chaotic, but then turns of events happened when her husband from another universe shows up.

Act 2

This act starts when Evelyn was involved in this multiverse problem. She saw things she couldn't understand but she felt some sense of responsibility. Her and her husband is trying to find away to save the multiverse. Things got really complicated here. 

Act 3

Evelyn realized the gravity of the situation, and decided to fight her own way. She found a loop hole and decided to end this mess. She eventually fixed the problem and healed her relationship and her family bond. 

  • Inciting Incident: Alpha Waymond shows up and tells Evelyn she’s needed to stop a multiverse threat.

  • Midpoint: Evelyn discovers that the villain she’s fighting is actually her daughter. That totally changes her motivation.

  • Climax: The emotional showdown at the everything bagel, where Evelyn convinces Joy not to give up, not by force, but by being present and choosing love.

  • Theme: Even when the world feels meaningless, family still matter.
