LECTURES

WEEK 1

This week, Ms. Nurul introduced the module briefing and explained the tasks we need to complete. We also learned about the project expectations and what we should prepare for the semester. After that, we were introduced to FlutterFlow as a tool for creating app prototypes. We also learned how AI can be used as one source of feedback for our design work. However, we should still think critically and decide which AI feedback is useful instead of accepting everything directly.

WEEK 2

WEEK 3
We had a consultation session with Ms. Nurul about our Figma file for Application Design 1.

TASK 1 - SELF-EVALUATION & REFLECTION

Task 1 focuses on reflecting on our previous Application Design 1 final project. We need to review the old app design, identify the problems, weaknesses, and areas that can be improved. This is important because it helps us understand what worked well and what did not work well in our previous project.

Through this reflection, we can compare our own opinion with feedback from AI and our lecturer. This allows us to think more critically before deciding what changes are needed. The aim is to use the reflection as a starting point to improve and redesign the mobile app in a better and more thoughtful way.

FEEDBACK

WEEK 1

General Feedback - Module briefing and introduction

WEEK 2

General Feedback - No feedback

WEEK 3

General Feedback - Asked about task 2 and mention that I have to add the delete aspect of the CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) fundamentals

REFLECTIONS

Through this self and AI reflection, I learned that my app already has a clear flow and the main idea is easy to understand. However, I also found that some parts still need improvement, such as making the search bars clearer, reducing distractions, and making the tour guide feature stand out more.

I also learned that AI feedback can help me notice design issues I may have missed, but I should not accept every suggestion right away. Some AI feedback may not fully understand my project goals or design choices. Because of that, I need to think critically, compare the feedback with my own reflection, and decide which points are useful. AI is a helpful support tool, but the final design decision should still come from my own judgment.
